Alison, thanks for the tip! I’ve heard the Hancock Tower has a better view but didn’t have time to make it there. I could’ve really used the ice-skating rink; it was terribly hot and muggy while I was in town!

As a former resident of Chicago, I loved the tourist attractions. Next time you visit, skip the Sears (ug Willis) Tower and head straight for the Hancock Tower. It may not be as tall, but has the Signature Lounge, where you can grab a drink and an amazing view of the city (the best view is in the ladies room). Also the Hancock tower has installed an ice skating rink on the 94th floor, which sounds strange enough to try. :) Glad you had a great time in Chi-town and I’m glad to have found you during #blog2011
