Personally, I liked Stephanie, but only because she was closest to my age, and that was my biggest determining factor in the character I related to on TV shows as a youngster. I also liked the youngest daughter on Family Matters solely because of her age, even though she rarely appeared -- and then disappeared in season four with nary a word spoken about losing a member of the family. Don't even get me started on Saved by the Bell. If Bayside High existed, I'd be there with my Bayside Tigers shirt on. Really, boys liked DJ?
